Tai Chi Dao is a martial arts weapon derived from Tai Chi techniques, originating in the Ming and Qing dynasties. This Tai Chi Dao follows the classic design, with a blade of exceptional flexibility that can bend without breaking. The handle is crafted from smooth solid wood, and the fittings are made of brass, intricately carved with Loong (Chinese Dragon) and cloud patterns—Loong symbolizes auspiciousness, authority, and vitality in Chinese culture, while cloud patterns echo the gentle rhythm of Tai Chi. The fittings are engraved with "China Longquan", as Longquan is a renowned hometown of Chinese swords and the birthplace of this dao. The scabbard is accented with matching tassels, creating an elegant and refined appearance. The name "LoongYun" translates to "Loong soaring through clouds, harmony of hardness and softness", reflecting both the power of the Loong and the gentle flow of clouds, perfectly aligning with the "dynamic and static balance" of Tai Chi Dao practice.
